While Out Stitching

Late-night sweatshop.

Cass Gilbert of While Out Riding notoriety has made a bit of a surprise visit to Victoria. It is always great to see an old friend, and hear the myriad of stories he has to tell of his velo-adventures.

He has written a little feature on his blog about the building of a new framebag for his Surly Troll.

The romantic side of Porcelain Rocket.

Thanks Cass!

Scott, I’ve been eyeing your work for quite some time, with assurance from Greg and Cass. I’m currently on a Pugsley for the winter, and my main bike is hibernating in Tacoma, WA but I’ll suely be contacting you when I’m back on the road. The main triangle of my High Sierra is large enough that I could probably store most of my camping kit in a frame bag. Another point for an old diamond frame ATB. Sortofajoke, but could (would) you make a bag with cotton duck canvas?

      Hey Nick,
      Thanks for the comment!

I’d be more than happy to do something with duck canvas.

Give me a shout at theporcelainrocket@gmail.com and we’ll chat it out.

      Scott
