Video : Stitching of a Different Sort
Hey y’all!
So, in an effort to make the Porcelain Rocket experience an even more ‘custom’ one, we are trying a little something new around here…
Instead of sending out hundreds of rather standard and boring form emails, or even setting up a page list on the website, I’ve decided that I will do a little live-action video FAQ series.
The first in the series:
This is a basic tutorial on making a nice pattern for me to work from on a custom framebag build.
If you have about 7 minutes to spare (and who doesn’t really?!), have a little watch. You might learn something.
Let me know what you think, and if there are any topics that you might like to see.
Thanks again and again!
Scott

Good job, Scott! Nice video.
Any progress on the Anything Cage bags? When can we see a prototype? We have a bikepacking trip planned for March. I suppose that’s too soon for them?
Thanks Gary!
Regarding the Anything Cage bags, all I can say is “Any day now”. I might have something for your tour. Send me an email!

Oh, and shorts in Feb. I’m jealous!
Yeah, I’m diggin’ this place, for sure!
Yard stick? showing your Yank heritage… I think you’re in meter stick land now.
Haha! For sure! There’s no hiding it, I guess.
I know there’s a ‘lowest common denominator’ joke in here somewhere.

Nice On One! Are those Racing Ralphs?
Indeed they are! Good eye!
Scott,
Is a good time to bug you about those custom fork bags yet?:)
Not just yet…
Very nice video Hmmm this gives me a lot of ideas on how to make a few things my self. But using duck cloth cost a lot here too.Back to wishing again lol.
You didn’t mention it in the video, but I’m assuming that you also need to know the position of the front dérailleur in order to avoid having a strap there?
Yep, go ahead and mark that too.
